Home Assistant can coordinate compatible heating, cooling and room sensors, but the original control and safety logic of the equipment must be respected. Use automation to set sensible modes, schedules and targets—not to bypass manufacturer controls. Keep a recognisable thermostat, button or native control available and make its priority clear.
